Colin - Managing Director

Colin is the owner of Precision Optics Eyewear. He started the company in 2016 and has been in the Optical industry since early 2009. He started his career at Specsavers and spent many years there covering various roles such as management, optical manufacturing and eyewear dispensing. The years of experience, knowledge and contacts, then allowed Colin the opportunity to start Precision Optics Eyewear. His main responsibilities are growing the business whilst supporting the team with training and assistance. He is also responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of client accounts for OG+ (the B2B sector for the business making eyewear for Opticians). Colin is always assessing the businesses procedures, systems and quality, to ensure it is operating at the highest level possible, whilst being efficient and streamlined.

Kim joined Precision Optics Eyewear in September 2023. With no previous optical experience, Kim was set the task of learning how to manufacture eyewear. With intensive training, commitment and dedication, Kim quickly developed the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise, to run and maintain the entire optical laboratory. Kim is now in charge of the entire manufacturing process and makes all of the eyewear for Precision Optics Eyewear, to some of the highest standards known within the optical industry. With her ability to constantly improve and drive for perfection, Kim continues to grow and excel in all areas of optical manufacturing and laboratory management. Kim runs, operates & manages the entire manufacturing set up here at Precision Optics Eyewear, evey single lens is made, assembled, checked and cleaned by her, as well as all of our OG+ orders, where we make eyewear for Opticians. Kim easily glazes hundreds of jobs per month at the highest level in the industry. 

Kerry joined Precision Optics Eyewear in March 2024. As the client database grew, the business needed someone to help maintain and improve the client aftercare services, as well as assist with business operations and clerical work. Kerry joined the team and not only took charge of these key areas, but created better systems and procedures, complimented by her natural ability to help make clients feel comfortable. Every client is looked after by Kerry. You will normally speak to her when calling our office or when receiving one of your aftercare calls, something of which has become a staple part of the amazing work Kerry does to look after clients.

Donna joined the team in September 2024. As word of mouth spread about what the company does, the need for another team member grew. Donna went through the necessary training to be able to recommend frames, lenses and other aspects of optics to Precision Optics Eyewear clients. You will often see Donna driving around the local area, assisting new and returning clients in one of the company's branded vehicles, with our mobile home visit services. Donna is able to discuss various lens types, frame styles and offer some of the best advice about how we like to manufacture eyewear for our clients. Donna's skills combined with her personality make for a great experience for all clients when discussing eyewear, along with other aspects of our services and products. You will often see amazing reviews about our clients experience about how great it was to have Donna attend their home or workplace and have an amazing experience and fun whilst discussing lenses and frames.

Stacey joined the team in May 2025 and obtained the necessary skills to be able to dispense eyewear to the highest standard possible. Stacey operates our showroom in Frinton On Sea and enjoys discussing various options for our clients whilst ensuring she makes everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Stacey's love for helping people shows throughout our reviews and feedback that we recieve from our clients on a weekly basis. Since Stacey has joined the team, it has allowed Colin to focus on building the team, business and ensuring we operate at the highest standards possible.
